Last week, I had a few exams, that spanned across most of the week, apart from Friday.
They were OK, but I messed up slightly. I was lead to believe that we were going to have a Triple Science exam. I really want to get a good grade in my sciences, so I spent most of my time revising for that. In doing so, I shunned my other topics like Italian, Maths, RE and Catering.
If I'm honest, I did alright alright in my exams, but not exceptionally well. I got 69% in my Catering (which equates to a B, I am told) I got a low C in my maths, unfortunately. However, I will revise a lot in time for my Module Two exam, so I will boost up that grade. I also got 57 marks in my English Language, which is a high B. Those are the only results I have received so far.
I think I'll do well in my Italian, and I'm not too bothered about RE.
Ah well, it'll be alright in the end...I hope.

Organ Donation
Yesterday, I registered to become an official organ donor. My family and I had been discussing it near dinner time (not the best timing, but hey), and I remembered the conversation afterwards. I then went to https://www.organdonation.nhs.uk/ukt/RegistrationForm.do and filled in the fields. I know posting this won't make a huge lot of difference, seeing as I only have 4 followers (one up from the last time I checked :D), but I'm going to post it anyway.
Not too long ago, there was a debate about how organ donation should work. At the moment, it is an 'opt in' situation, meaning you have to sign up. However, Gordon Brown, or another member from the labour party, suggested it should be an 'opt out' thing. Meaning you would have to take yourself off of the register. This is what my family and I were discussing last night. I think it should stay as an 'opt in' based thing. I would not want a decision as big as thing (because it is a reasonably large decision) to be made for me.
Anyway, I didn't used to want my organs given to people. It's quite an awkward though, if I'm honest, having your organs in another persons' body. But I decided that if I could have the chance to save someone's life once I had passed away, or if they needed a kidney or part of my liver, while I was still alive, I would be happy to do so.
That must have been an incredibly boring post to read, but I felt it necessary to be written. Thanks :)

Brace Update
Well, I've had braces for about a week and four days now, thought I'd give an update, as the title suggests.
They're good. I can chew solid food now, however I can't bite into it, unless I want to feel like someone's attached crocodile clips to my gums, and sent a good few hundred volts into 'em!
Getting food out of them is a completely different matter! It's extremely annoying wondering if there's a seed, bit of skin off of some various fruit in between my braces...*Sigh*
Ah well, it's all for my own good, so that's that.
All in all, a pretty pointless blog post, I just felt like writing it. Apologies.

Ah, Revision...
It's like that cousin that you're forced to see every so often, even though you don't really like him/her at all...
I've just started revising for exams that are coming up soon. I have a Triple Science mock on the 30th of March, general year 10 exams, and some actual triple science modules. Module 1,2 and 3 of every science. May take me a little while, but I'm doing it in bite size chunks. 20 minutes to half an hour on each, then move on to the next subject.
At least I feel like it's helping me now. In previous years, it hasn't really felt like it's helped, but now that I'm looking down at the revision-filled pages, it's jogging my memory. Almost like an old watch has started again....
Although I could talk about revision for many an hour, I feel something else necessary to mention in this here blog post. I am getting braces tomorrow! On the 17th of March, at approximately 14:00, I will be a member of the 'Brace Race', as Richard Gibson kindly said.
I've had a total of seven teeth taken out, four elastic bands put in my mouth (although one of them has fallen out :/) and I'm now ready for the Train Tracks. I'm glad, I'd like to get it done properly now, then have a 'bodged' job later on.

As I await my dinner...
I thought I'd do a blog post. Yes yes, I did one yesterday, but I'm not forcing you to read it! I've had a few people say I blog too much, that's why I say that part.
Anyway, dinner, yes. On Sunday nights, me and my family sit down and eat our dinner. We do this every night, but what makes Sunday night special, is that we watch a fantastic program called 'Lost' on Sundays. I'm sure you've heard of it, it's a massive hit in the US, and it's reasonably big here in the UK as well.
To sum it up, it's about a group of people that land on an Island. These people have to overcome loads of obstacles to get off this island, but when they do, they feel the need to go back. I won't say anymore, and in hindsight, that's a pretty bad summary. Ah well.
I love this program, and highly recommend it. It's well written, it's a great thriller - it gets the blood pumpin' a lot-. If I'm honest, I couldn't complain even if I tried. Saying that 'tis a tad confusin' at times, but all is revealed eventually.

Musical Merriment
Hey guys,
I have been aware that there's been a thorough lack of blogging on my part, and for that, I apologies. (The text has gone into Italics and I don't know how to change it!) However, I am aware that some people dislike my constant blogging. Meh. You don't have to read it!
Anyway, Musical Merriment, yes. Well, I began this week by downloading Mumford & Sons album 'After The Storm'. Personally, I love it. I like the folk-y aspect to it, and the skilled use of Banjo, which, if I understand correctly, is a reasonably hard instrument to play.
A good friend then lent me the new 'Fall Out Boy' album. Again, I am aware (I like that phrase) that a lot of people don't like F.O.B. I do, I don't know why, but I really enjoy their music. Although I do like FOB, this album has not been their best. 'Foile a Deux' hasn't particularly captured my interest, but I shall listen a 'wee bit more', and report back.
I also re-sat my Module One maths exam. I'm reasonably confident that I got at least a B. Or, at least, I hope so. I easily did about 10 hours of revision, including about six pass papers. I feel a lot better about this exam than I did about it the first time 'round.
I've decided to ditch the crappy little tag line. It's just a bit crap to be completely honest.

Teeth Extractions...
Are finally over! Thank god.
I got back from the dentist about an hour ago, face still numb with two open wounds in my mouth. Great!
